Advisors – R&D and Innovation
Prof. Asad U. Khan brings over 30 years of research experience in Microbiology, with a strong focus on antimicrobial resistance and infection control. He has published more than 250 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and has developed a patented laser-based photodynamic technology for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Prof. Khan has served on numerous national and international task-force committees for project evaluation. His work, particularly the discovery of the NDM-4 superbug, has been widely featured in national and international print and electronic media. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards and recognitions from both national and international bodies, including one conferred by the Hon’ble President of India.
